Create a Scholarship

Creating Opportunities Through Education

Scholarships open doors for students and allow donors to create a lasting legacy. Establishing a scholarship is a meaningful way to honor a family member, friend, colleague, or organization and help students pursue their educational goals.

More Than Financial Support

Scholarships remove financial barriers, but their impact goes beyond tuition assistance. Receiving a scholarship builds confidence, encourages persistence, and reminds students that others believe in their potential and future success.

A Meaningful Way to Give Back

Supporting a scholarship is a powerful way to make a lasting difference. Donors help students pursue their academic and career ambitions and honor people or causes that hold special meaning in their lives.

Design a Scholarship That Reflects Your Values

Donors can shape the future by establishing scholarship criteria that reflect their priorities, interests, or the legacy they wish to honor. Foundation staff work with donors to create scholarships that align with their goals.

Endowed Scholarships

Endowed scholarships provide permanent support for students. The initial gift is invested, and a portion of the earnings is awarded each year, so the scholarship continues helping students for generations. Endowed scholarships typically begin with a minimum gift of $10,000, and larger endowments provide greater long-term impact.

Annual Scholarships

Annual scholarships provide immediate support for students and can be renewed each year at the donor’s discretion. These scholarships allow the full gift to be awarded directly to students and typically start at $500 per academic year.
